Responsibilities:

  • Perform work as detailed by foreman
  • Ensure work is performed in accordance with established company policies and work procedures
  • Provide courteous, exceptional customer service
  • Constructing softscape
  • Planting hedges, shrubs, perennials, and trees
  • Pruning hedging & shrubs, garden bed clean-up, raking, cultivating, digging, moving mulch and soil, stump removal
  • Meticulous job sites clean-up
  • Operating a power equipment (trimmers, mowers, sweepers, blowers, etc)
  • Additional work tasks as required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Available minimum 40 hours/week
  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Easily lift minimum of 50lbs
  • Valid driver’s license with proof of driver’s abstract and reliable transportation
  • Working knowledge of common hand / power tools related to landscape maintenance
  • Knowledge, experience, and ability to use and climb ladders safely and correctly
  • Exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous maintenance experience is an asset
  • Motivated, energetic team player
  • Ability to take direction, learn and work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Comfortable working for extended periods of time in a variety of outdoor environments including extreme hot and cold temperatures
